More About Me

Being a student-athlete playing Division I lacrosse for The University of Maryland I have pondered the question of whether the big time sport athletes that generate a lot of revenue should be paid or not. I know that a sport like lacrosse, that doesn't produce revenue shouldn't even be in this topic for debate, but sports like basetball and football should.

For my English 101 class, we did research on any topic of our choice and by going with the topic that I chose, I learned a lot about it. After we did research we had to big assignments. One was an inquiry paper that had both sides of the arguement included in it. Secondly was our CAP, which was our argument paper.

After extensive research and writing my inquiry paper, I came to the conclusion that I believed that it isn't fair that revenue generating college sport athletes are not receiving a salary for their work. They generate revenue in multiple different ways and it's not fair that they aren't being compensated for it.
